Welcome to OGSA’s website. The Website is operated by the Ontario Golf Superintendents’ Association (OGSA) (“OGSA" or "We", as further defined below). By accessing or using the Website or by posting a link on any website(s) owned or operated by or on behalf of you ("You" or "Your"), You signify that You have read, understand and agree to be bound by these terms of use (these "Terms of Use" or this "Agreement"), whether or not You are a registered member of the Website. (iii) Registered Users will receive a password and username designation upon completing the Website registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under Your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify OGSA of any unauthorized use of Your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that You exit from Your account at the end of each session.
(iv) As a Registered User of the Website we may, from time to time, email to you publicly available information about other Registered Users of the Website, at our discretion.
(v) We may send email communications related to your registration/membership in order to keep you updated about important changes to the Community, these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, etc.
(vi) As a Registered User of the Website, you agree that you are responsible for managing your privacy and email settings.
Acceptable Use Policy
You must comply with all policies regarding permitted and prohibited uses of the Website that may be posted by OGSA on the Website from time to time.
Your privilege to use the Website (including the OGSA Members Community) and contribute to discussions on the OGSA Discussion Board depends on Your compliance with the community standards. We may revoke Your privileges to use all or a portion of the Website and/or take any other appropriate measures to enforce community standards if violations are brought to our attention. Further, if you fail to adhere to the community standards, We may terminate, in OGSA's sole discretion, Your use of, or participation in, the OGSA Community. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term "OGSA Community" means any chat room, message board, bulletin board, or similar activity where You and other users of the Website can communicate.
All OGSA Community communications, including, but not limited to, chat and message board communications, are public and not private communications. Except where prohibited by applicable law, any claim, dispute or controversy (whether in contract or tort, pursuant to statute or regulation, or otherwise, and whether pre-existing, present or future) arising out of or relating to: (a) these Terms of Use; or (b) the relationships which result from these Terms of Use (collectively, the "Claim") will be referred to and determined by a sole arbitrator (to the exclusion of the courts). Except where prohibited by applicable law, you waive any right you may have to commence or participate in any class action against us related to any Claim and, where applicable, you also agree to opt out of any class proceedings against us.
In any action against us arising from the use of the Website, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all legal expenses incurred in connection with the action, including but not limited to its costs, both taxable and non-taxable, and reasonable legal fees.
If any provision of these Terms of Use shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from these terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and any Additional Terms, is the entire agreement between You and OGSA relating to the subject matter herein.
We may assign our rights and obligations under this Agreement. This Agreement will inure to the benefit of our successors, assigns and licensees. The failure of either party to insist upon or enforce the strict performance of the other party with respect to any provision of this Agreement, or to exercise any right under this Agreement, will not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment to any extent of such party's right to assert or rely upon any such provision or right in that or any other instance; rather, the same will be and will remain in full force and effect.

Return Policy
For cancelations made up to 7 business days prior to the event, a full refund will be provided. Within 7 business days before the date of the event, there will be no refund extended and a substitute may replace the registrant. There will be no refund for no shows at events, for payment of membership dues, or for job postings.

Who can access the OGSA member portal?
Please note that the OGSA member portal is to be used by members of OGSA only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by OGSA staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
What can be posted?
To ensure all interactions within the OGSA member portal are safe and friendly, OGSA staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact. To help provide a productive environment, please report any offensive or suspicious activity to OGSA staff. Please note that not all user-submitted content is representative of OGSA, nor does it necessarily represent the views of OGSA, its staff or members.
