Nestled along the banks of Sixteen Mile Creek, in the heart of Oakville, the club has a wonderful setting. A strong membership guides the course with a vision set apart from other Toronto clubs. Long range planning is alive and well with a continued future goal of moving the course forward.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates seeking to advance their careers in golf course management while receiving hands-on training and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

At Oakville Golf Club, we prioritize your growth and development. As part of this role, you will receive:

Comprehensive Training: In turfgrass management, budgeting, irrigation systems, and pest/disease management.
On-the-Job Learning: Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to develop skills in leadership, staff management and agronomic planning. Working with club committees, developing long range planning strategies.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance.
Degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy or related field.
Pesticide / IPM licencing.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for providing high-quality playing conditions.
