Huron Oaks Golf Club a semi-private18-hole course located in Bright’s Grove, Ontario is seeking an experienced and dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and agronomic operations of our golf course and practice facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily maintenance, care, and overall condition of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, rough, bunkers, and practice areas
Lead and manage all turf care staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Implement effective turf management practices, including irrigation, pest control, fertilization, mowing, and aeration
Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget and capital improvement plans
Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
Work closely with the General Manager, Golf Professional, and ownership to ensure optimal course conditions and member satisfaction
Maintain all course maintenance equipment and liaise with vendors as needed

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Turf Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a senior turf management role, preferably as an Assistant or Superintendent
Strong knowledge of cool-season turfgrasses, irrigation systems, and best practices for golf course conditioning
Valid Ontario Pesticide License (or willingness to obtain)
IPM Certification(or willingness to obtain)
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Flexible schedule – early mornings, weekends, and holidays may be required during the golf season

Compensation:

Annual Salary $85,000 to $120,000 based upon experience
