Copper Creek Golf Club, a premier public golf destination in the Greater Toronto Area, is seeking a Second Assistant Superintendent to join our progressive turf management team. Designed by acclaimed architect Doug Carrick and nestled in the picturesque Humber River Valley, Copper Creek is the flagship property of the Copper Creek Golf Group and is widely recognized for its commitment to excellence in course conditions and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and oversee irrigation repairs, pesticide, and fertilizer applications
Operate and train staff on the safe and effective use of all golf course equipment
Assist with daily maintenance operations and staff supervision
Collaborate with the management team on agronomic planning and decision-making
Manage Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs and maintain accurate records
Lead special projects and contribute to continuous course improvement
Uphold health and safety standards across all turf operations
Foster a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications & Skills

Post-secondary education in turfgrass management or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 3 years experience in golf course maintenance
Strong organizational and computer skills
Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
Landscape Exterminator’s Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Chainsaw certification (asset)
