The objective of the Second Assistant Superintendent position is to develop the skills necessary to progress to the next level while contributing to the overall success of the department and the Club. Advancement as a turf manager requires proficiency across multiple disciplines, and we are committed to providing the experience, mentorship, and resources needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with superintendent and assistants regarding all aspects of daily operations
- Deliver championship conditions
- Lead a team of 50+ employees
- Manage irrigation control systems, watering programs and system maintenance
- Oversee IPM programs
- Meet and maintain Health and Safety protocols at the highest standard
- Equipment maintenance & troubleshooting
- Turf & construction equipment operation
- Complete operational reports and communications
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong desire to become a golf course superintendent
- Education in turfgrass management or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience working in golf course maintenance
- Must be detail oriented, with ability to excel in a private club setting
- A self-starter with a strong desire for achieving championship golf course conditions
Compensation Package
• Year-round salary range: $70,000 - $77,000
