Innisbrook Golf Course is a well-established golf facility located in Barrie, Ontario, recognized for providing a high-quality playing experience. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead turf and grounds operations and uphold excellent course conditions.

Position Summary

The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and conditioning of the golf course and related grounds. This role involves staff leadership, turf management planning, budgeting, and collaboration with ownership to support the long-term vision of the property.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance
Manage turf health, irrigation systems, fertilization, and pest management programs
Supervise, train, and lead the grounds maintenance team
Develop and manage maintenance budgets and inventories
Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards
Prepare the course for daily play, tournaments, and special events
Communicate regularly with ownership and management regarding course conditions and plans

Qualifications & Skills

Experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent preferred
Strong knowledge of turfgrass management and golf course maintenance practices
Proven leadership and staff management abilities
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Valid Ontario Landscape Pesticide Application Licence (required)
Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Certification & Accreditation (required)
Turf management education, certification, or professional association membership is considered an asset

Compensation

Total annual compensation range: $75,000 to $120,000, based on experience
Compensation package includes a combination of base salary, allowances, professional support, and a performance-based bonus structure
