Golf Course Mechanic
Kaneff Golf is looking for a Golf Course Mechanic to service the Turf equipment for Century Pines GC located in Troy ON.
Join our team as a Golf Course Equipment Mechanic at Century Pines Golf Clubs. This role is responsible for maintenance and repairs of all golf course maintenance vehicles. Responsible for making major and minor repairs on a variety of gasoline, diesel, and electric powered equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and schedule all equipment for repairs and/or maintenance. Check fluid levels; inspects, change and repair tires; maintain mileage reports; may do body repair and painting work.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in golf course maintenance and construction equipment.
- Set and adjust mowers to ensure cutting quality.
- Overhaul and repair automotive and other powered equipment including engines, brakes, transmissions, differentials, springs, and mufflers; secure and replace tools and parts.
- Use of John Deere’s Pro Golf software for administrative duties in relation to operation of shop including purchasing, receiving, vehicle record maintenance, departmental billing, inventory control, health and safety checklists for equipment.
- Responsible for oil and gasoline inventories and fuel facility. Make sure orders are received, correct, and accounted for.
- Maintain shop in orderly condition, cleaning working areas after repairs are completed.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory health and safety company policies; conducting subsequent reports and recommendations for safe work areas; and carrying out site inspections on a regular basis.
- Other duties as needed. Job duties and responsibilities may vary across Kaneff Golf locations.

- Valid driver’s license.
