Limestone Bay Estate is a privately owned, high-end estate course located on
beautiful Simcoe Island, just off the shores of Kingston, Ontario. This scenic 9-green, 18-hole
course is reserved exclusively for guests of Limestone Bay Estate, offering them private
access to golf at any time during their stay. With a fleet of 15 carts and a peaceful lakeside
setting, it’s a truly one-of-a-kind golf experience.

We are seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Golf Course Superintendent to manage both the
golf course and the grounds, along with general maintenance and oversight of our two on-site
luxury rental properties.

This is a fantastic role for someone looking for autonomy, a balanced lifestyle, and the

Key Responsibilities

  • Full oversight of golf course maintenance, groundskeeping, and equipment.
  • Implementation of best practices in turfgrass management and Integrated Pest Management (IPM).
  • Maintenance support and general upkeep of two high-end guest properties on-site.
  • Management of irrigation systems, chemical and fertilizer applications, and seasonal tasks.
  • Working independently with flexibility and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Ontario Exterminator’s License.
  • IPM accreditation or willingness to obtain.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or First Assistant.
  • Diploma or degree in turf management, horticulture, agronomy, or a related field (equivalent experience or short courses also welcome).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions independently.
