The objective of the Assistant in Training position is to develop the skills necessary to evolve into a management role while contributing to the overall success of the department and the Club. Advancement as a turf manager requires proficiency across multiple disciplines, and we are committed to providing the experience, mentorship, and resources needed to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of golf course maintenance, delivering championship conditions
- Learn all aspects of water management and irrigation system operation
- Gain hands-on experience with fertilizer and chemical applications, including calibration, application techniques, and health and safety standards
- Exposure to and participation in IPM program, uphold Health and Safety protocols, Safe Equipment Operation and Training
- Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure operational goals are met
- Uphold club standards for safety, professionalism, and environmental stewardship
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong desire to become an assistant superintendent
- Minimum 3 years experience working in golf course maintenance
- Education in turfgrass management (completed or enrolled)
- Must be detail oriented, with ability to excel in a private club setting
- A self-starter with a strong desire for achieving championship golf course conditions

• Year-Round Position
• Hourly wage of $25/hour
