Do you love turf? Take pride in pristine greens? Enjoy leading a team outdoors? We are looking for a Superintendent to join our team in beautiful Wasaga Beach. At 5400 yards, Marlwood Golf and Country Club offers all golfers enough challenges, and an enjoyable experience.

This is a hands-on, dedicated role for someone who is passionate about golf course conditions, and takes pride in delivering a great playing experience from the first tee to the 18th green. The individual should be positive, self-motivated, hardworking, and team oriented.

What you will be doing

You will oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and turf care, including:

Managing greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and landscaping
Planning and executing fertilization, aeration, topdressing, and pest management programs
Monitoring turf health and making proactive adjustments based on weather and course play
Overseeing irrigation systems and water management
Leading, training, and scheduling the maintenance crew
Active participation in daily course setup
Keeping everything safe, organized, and compliant with Ontario regulations

You will work closely with ownership/management to keep the course in top shape while balancing playability, sustainability, and budget.

What we are looking for

Diploma or Degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or a related field
Leadership or supervisory experience an asset
Ontario Pesticide License (or ability to obtain)
Strong knowledge of cool-season turf management
Experience with irrigation systems, Toro an asset
A positive attitude and strong communication skills
