Meadowbrook Golf Club is a private 18-hole championship golf club located in Gormley, Ontario. The golf course was originally built in the late 50’s by Art Latchum with subsequent modifications by Graham Cook. We have a 4-hole warm up area as well as a full range and chipping green

Position Summary:
Assist the Golf Course Superintendent with the daily maintenance, agronomy, and management of the golf course grounds. Help supervise and train turf staff, support course preparation for play and events, and assist in irrigation, fertilizer, and chemical programs. The position is full time.

Key Responsibilities
• Daily maintenance operations (tees, greens, fairways, practice areas and roughs).
• Supervise, train and provide an enjoyable, positive and safe working environment for staff members.
• Assist with irrigation systems operation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in turf fertility and pest control applications.
• Assist in IPM record-keeping, safety compliance, and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications
• Diploma or degree in turfgrass management, agronomy, or the Turf Managers Short Course
• Experience in golf course maintenance and supervision.
• A valid Ontario pesticide licence or the willingness to obtain one during the first year of employment
• Knowledge of Toro Lynx software and a Toro Osmac Hydraulic Irrigation System would be an asset, but can be learned in house.
