What You’ll Do
Working alongside the Associate Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional course conditions while helping lead and develop a dedicated team.
● Support daily operations of the Golf Maintenance Department with a hands-on leadership approach
● Plan, organize, and supervise staff to ensure efficient and high-quality course maintenance ● Contribute to course conditioning strategies and continuous improvement initiatives ● Lead critical programs including irrigation, spray applications, scouting, and IPM ● Oversee water management practices and irrigation system performance
● Assist with hiring, training, and fostering a positive, safety-first team culture
● Maintain accurate records for IPM and regulatory compliance
● Support winter operations, including snow removal and outdoor activity maintenance
What You Bring
● Minimum 5 years of experience in golf course maintenance or a related field ● Degree, diploma, or certification in Turfgrass Management
● Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record
● Ontario Landscape Exterminator Licence (IPM Certification considered an asset)
● Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
● A proactive mindset with attention to detail and pride in your work
● Flexibility to work varied hours in a seasonal outdoor environment
● Confidence operating a wide range of turf equipment
